Introduction to school enviornment & processes
At Bishop Elementary School, we are proud to welcome and support our families who have military ties and active duty. Our campus is a 3rd-5th grade school and Bishop Primary (PK-2nd grade) feeds into our school. We are excited to have our military-connected children attend our school for learning, growth, and be successful together. Military-connected students can face unique challenges, such as moves, re-assignments and family separations, so our school staff is committed to creating a safe, caring, and positive school environment. We want every child to feel respected, supported, and encouraged to do their best.
Our webpage is meant to provide families with easy access to resources and ensure their child feels supported academically, socially and emotionally. Our school processes are designed to help students in the course of the school year and beyond. We encourage:
- Regular attendance and arriving at school on time each day
- Respectful behavior toward classmates, teachers, and staff
- Active participation in classroom learning and school activities
- Open communication between parents, teachers, and administration
- Following school rules and safety procedures to maintain a secure environment for everyone
We also offer opportunities for students to grow outside the classroom through extracurricular activities, special events, and community involvement. Parents are an important part of our school family, and we value your partnership in supporting your child’s education. Together, we can make this school year a successful and memorable one.
Welcome to Bishop Elementary, where every child matters and every success is celebrated
